US Grade 4 - 7
In this one-time class, students will share what they are thankful for and why they are thankful. I am hoping this exercise allows students the chance to reflect on what they have and what they have to be thankful for. It is good to express when we are thankful to the people around us and it is good for us to remember to be thankful for all we have (even if we don't have everything we want). Being able to put what we are thankful for in writing, helps us put words on what we are thankful for and may help us be able to communicate better with those around us. My goal is to create a meaningful class where students grow in experience and confidence. I hope that students feel comfortable asking questions, and encouraging one another. Students will have opportunity to ask questions and engage with other students.
Learning Goals
