Welcome to our dynamic and interactive anatomy class for learners aged 10-13! My classes are designed to be engaging and interactive, utilizing creative tools like images, posters, t-shirts, printables to laminate and place in binders with Velcro attachments for naming & matching, puzzles, songs, scavenger hunts, and more. Classes will be conducted via lectures, presentations, discussions, hands-on demonstrations, return demonstrations each ending in question-and-answer sessions. I believe that learning should be fun and accessible, catering to different learning styles to ensure every learner remains engaged and excited. **Timeframes are On-Demand 6 days a Week from Monday - Saturday for 1-hour, one-on-one private tutoring sessions per learner. The cost is $55 per session, per learner. Course Topics: Skeletal System: Discover the awesome structure and function of bones. Muscular System: Learn about muscle anatomy and movement in a fun way. Circulatory System: Explore the heart, blood vessels, and how blood flows. Respiratory System: Find out how we breathe and exchange gases. Digestive System: Understand the process of digestion and how we absorb nutrients. Nervous System: Dive into the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Immune System: Learn how our body defends against illness. Lymphatic System: Understand the lymphatic system's role in keeping us healthy. Endocrine System: Explore how hormones regulate body functions. Integumentary System: Learn all about the skin, hair, and nails. Renal (Urinary) System: Discover how the kidneys, urethra, ureters and bladder filter and excrete waste from the body. Male and Female Reproductive Systems: Understand the anatomy, function, and health of reproductive organs, including the role in human development and the importance of reproductive health education. Sexually transmitted diseases will also be discussed in an age-appropriate manner with parental/guardian consent. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where learners feel valued and inspired. My goal is to inspire curiosity and a love for science in every learner I teach, turning complex subjects into captivating stories that ignite young imaginations. I love creating prizes and rewards to celebrate learners' achievements and motivate them to excel. Each learner will receive a Diploma once they successfully complete the course! Parental Guidance
Male and Female Reproductive Systems: Understand the anatomy, function, and health of reproductive organs, including the role in human development and the importance of reproductive health education. Sexually transmitted diseases will also be discussed in an age-appropriate manner with parental/guardian consent.
Parental guidance may be required when learners are using scissors to cut out pieces for labeling and matching activities that learners will participate in.
COURSE POLICIES
Refund Policy:
Per Outschool Refund Policy - All classes have a standard refund policy: "Refund within 24 hours of payment until your next meeting or lesson access begins."
Transfer requests to a new section must be made at least 72 hours before class begins.
Missed Meetings:
If a learner hasn't joined the meeting 10 minutes after the scheduled start time, it will be cancelled, and refunds won't be provided.
Attendance Policy:
Missing 3 consecutive classes without prior communication to Nurse2Teacher Patricia forfeits the class fee, with no refunds, and remaining sessions will be cancelled.
Recordings:
Recordings are available upon request.
Respectful Behavior:
Learners must be respectful of Nurse2Teacher Patricia and all other learners at all times.
Make-up Sessions:
Make-up sessions will be provided in case of an emergency preventing Nurse2Teacher Patricia from attending class.
Pre-Requisites
No prerequisites, skills or experience is required.

Any supplies needed during upcoming class sessions will be listed prior to the class.
