Class Experience

In this course, students will be engaged for 30 minutes on how to sound out words. Students should have a basic understanding of letters and their corresponding sounds before taking this class. The class will focus on "um" family words and will include words such as hum, gum,mum , etc. Students will practice the sound of the word family ending. Next, students will think of a beginning sound to add to the word family ending to create new words. As we are creating, students are encouraged to write new words.
