Students will learn how World War 2 began. During the first week we will look at Germany and their economic condition imposed by the Treaty of Versailles which ended World War 1. We will see how this led to Hitler's rise of power. How was the world so blind as to Hitler's intentions? What was public opinion of Hitler in Germany? We will explore all of this in week 1. Students will improve their understanding of World War 2 through lecture and interactive quizzes. Each week, students will learn how a series of events led to a World War that involved most of the globe. Students will learn how one man's hatred would have a profound effect on groups of people. And will also learn how two bombs would guide foreign policy for close to fifty years/
