US Grade 3 - 4
In early elementary school students start writing beginning reports. In order to achieve this, they must understand what a paragraph is and the parts of a report: the introduction, body paragraphs, and the conclusion. In this class, we learn how to brainstorm and research the topic, how to make a simple outline, and what the introduction, body paragraph(s), and conclusion must contain. An example of a beginning report will be shown to illustrate these points. In order for this class to be of the most benefit, your student should have some experience and success with writing a simple paragraph. I teach in a relaxed manner. Class Rules: We mute so we do not talk over one another, if we have a question or a comment, we raise our hand, we are kind and respectful to everyone, and per the Outschool rules, the camera must be turned on at the beginning of class so I may verify the learner.
