This one time class is designed for learners who might struggle with, or need a refresher lesson in summary skills.  Being able to create a brief summary is an essential skill in exams around the world and is also a really useful life skill. We will look at how to break down a text into its most important parts, highlighting skills, skimming and scanning and finally creating a brief summary.  My teaching style is relaxed but fun and purposeful.  Learners will interact with each other during class and I will provide feedback, guidance and encouragement through the lesson.  I have been teaching English in the UK for 18 years and am also an English examiner.
