Class Experience
With an emphasis on the thesis statement, students will learn in great detail on how to write a strong 5-paragraph essay and thesis. Sample paragraphs of an essay will be provided to serve as an example and demonstration for students. Additionally, we will discuss parts of the essay and its structure: Introduction, Body, and Conclusion. Next, we will learn about the thesis. Students will learn how to write a 5-paragraph essay and strong thesis statement.
Powerpoint slides will be provided.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
