Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 4
In this one-time class, we will discuss the components of a paragraph, and how to write one. We will read examples of paragraphs, brainstorm positive and negative aspects of the examples, as well as what parts of speech are used. Then we will write our own. We will not stop there though. We will also brainstorm how to turn a draft into a final copy by learning how professional writers edit their work. At the end of class, we will go over some tips and tricks on how to improve our writing as a whole.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! My name is Miss Bree, and I love to dance, read, and write! I have been teaching dance for about 8 years. My favorite styles to teach are jazz, ballet, tap, and hip hop. I have a Master's in Childhood Education with a specialization in English Creative Writing. I believe creativity is a very important aspect of teaching and learning. In my classes, I allow students to move freely with a splash of guidance. Watching students move with their own individual sparkle allows the class to shine as a whole!
