How to Write a Holiday Letter to Santa Claus - Christmas Creative Writing Class
Students will first learn the steps to writing a great letter and then will write their own letter to Santa with teacher support.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Together learners will spend 25 minutes writing a letter to Santa, his reindeer, Christmas elves and whoever else they want to include. The first portion of the class will be spent learning the steps to writing a great letter. Then everyone will take some time to create their own letter. There are three options to pick from when it comes to creating your letter. 1. Fill in the blank. Learners will be provided with a handout on the classroom page that they can print out and fill in the one word blanks with teacher support. 2. Write your own letter. Learners can handwrite their own letter on paper. 3. Teacher writes the letter for the learners. Learners have the option to say what they want to write and the teacher will type it out for you.
