This is a self-paced 30-minute class on how to visualize time in popular novels and poems. Time can be quite difficult to visualize. This also helps with study skills in other classes such as American History that use timelines for study.

Beginner - Advanced Level
This is a self-paced, 30-minute class focusing on how to improve visualization for better reading comprehension regarding texts handling time. Tackling the concept of time in novels and poems is the focus. Time can be particularly difficult to visualize, and it is treated as a separate visualization lesson. Students are welcome to sign-up for my live 90 -minute class "Increase Reading Comprehension Through Visualization, the Art of the Mind" before or after. We will be studying some of the text on the first two pages of J.G. Ballard's science fiction novel "The Drowned World," and T.S. Eliot's poem "Burnt Norton" (https://www.poetryverse.com/ts-eliot-poems/four-quartets-burnt-norton). A two-page handout will be supplied.

Students will gain skills on how to visualize time for more enjoyable reading and reading comprehension.

Pre-Requisites
There are no pre-reqs for his class, but the other visualization class I teach live for 90-minutes "Increase Reading Comprehension Through Visualization, the Art of the Mind" can be done anytime before or after this class.

During a summer break during my college years, I taught tennis to more than 300 youngsters in New York City for a nonprofit, I also taught more than 200 high school students English for the New York City Board of Education where I received my perm-per-diem teaching license. I worked as a professional in New York City for more than 30 years in communications, and I also had a small, successful communications business. I am semi-retired. I sometimes tutor public school groups for another tutoring firm since April, and work as a part-time online tasker for a generative AI firm.
