Each lesson is filled with games, guided practice, and hands-on activities that help kids connect time telling to real life situations like knowing when it's time for lunch, dinner, or bedtime! Whether your child is just being introduced to clocks or needs some extra practice, this class builds their skills step-by-step in a supportive and playful environment. Students will learn: -The parts of an analog clock (face, hour hand, minute hand) -How to read digital clocks -Telling time to the hour, half hour, and nearest five minutes -Vocabulary such as “o’clock,” “half past,” and “quarter after” -How time relates to daily activities and routines *Lesson 1: Understanding clocks + telling time to the hour *Lesson 2: Telling time to the half hour *Lesson 3: Telling time in five-minute intervals + real-world practice Each 30–40 minute lesson includes: -Quick warm-up or review -Direct instruction using slides or visuals -Hands-on practice (drawing clocks, drag-and-drop games, matching times) -Time-telling games and real-life scenarios -Optional at home activities (printable worksheets) My teaching style is playful, positive, and engaging! I use visuals, movement, and scaffolded practice to help students stay involved and motivated. I celebrate effort, encourage participation, and provide lots of positive reinforcement. I use a combination of screen sharing (slides/interactive clocks), whole-group discussion, and individual time practice to keep students active throughout class. Learners are gently guided step-by-step, building confidence in a supportive environment.
