Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
I have worked full-time as law enforcement officer in the state of New Mexico for over 7 years, 3 of which I have served as a certified instructor. During my time, I have been certified in Crisis Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, Verbal Judo, Deescalation and work place stress reduction. These skills have been greatly utilized in my day to day work and have proven successful in deescalating a tense situation.

In addition, I currently hold certification in Fundamentals Of Coaching from the National Federation of State High Schools as well as an Athletic Coach licensure from the New Mexico Public Education Department. Both certifications have provided me with centralized knowledge of instruction of young people, recognizing signs of distress and providing a conducive learning environment for young people.
