Parents often seek my assistance in helping their children become more confident and effective communicators with family members, teachers, and other adults in their lives. In these classes, learners will develop a variety of key communication skills, such as: Making Eye Contact: Eye contact is crucial for building trust and showing attentiveness in conversations. Learners will understand why it’s important and how it helps convey confidence and respect when speaking to others. Using Facial Expressions: Facial expressions are a powerful tool for conveying emotions and enhancing verbal communication. We’ll explore how different expressions can reinforce what they’re saying and make their interactions more engaging and effective. Displaying Respectful Body Language: Body language plays a significant role in communication. Learners will practice using open, respectful gestures and postures that show they are engaged and considerate during conversations. Ensuring Voice Clarity: Clear speech is essential for being understood. We’ll work on speaking with the right volume and enunciation, as well as choosing words carefully to communicate thoughts clearly and effectively.
