I can decode and read multisyllable words using open syllables. I can decode and read multisyllable words using closed syllables.
I have many years of experience teaching E.S.L (English Second Language) students as well as native English speakers. Understanding how to properly decode new words is crucial to a child's success when reading.
I have attached 5 worksheets inside this class, students may complete the worksheets that they did not get to finish in class as homework.
Materials needed: Printed Practice Worksheets Pencil Coloring Pencils or Crayons
I will informally assess student understanding throughout our lesson. I will also happily accept and mark any practice work that is completed outside of class!
