Learn how to draw a realistic bear with charcoal in this one-time class. No experience necessary! The class will consist of three main parts: sketching in pencil, drawing with charcoal, and using an eraser to create highlights. Students will learn about layering, smudging, and erasing charcoal to create awesome fur textures. They will also learn fun facts about bears along the way! Ms. Emily will guide students step-by-step throughout the class and will show a close up view of her hands while she demonstrates each step. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share their artwork with the other learners in the class. It will be a warm and welcoming environment that will be a good mix of learning and fun!
