Fairies and their little houses are a staple in fantasy folklore. What fun it is to imagine one of your own! Students will be led step-by-step with the basic shape and form of a mushroom fairy house using drawing pencils. They will be also be given references and instructions for other home styles as well so that they can add their own embellishments, changes, and backgrounds if they choose to. Creativity is encouraged! Students will be able to color them in as well in a thoughtful way with colored pencils if they would like to. Or, they will be shown how to use pointillism to shade as seen in the photo image. **Even if you can't make the class time, you can still book the class and watch the replay!
Learning Goals
Students will learn drawing techniques while they create a magical fairy house. Some emphasis will be on color shading for shadows, as well as pointillism.
