Description
Class Experience
As a long-time "Foster Hero" for the Arizona Humane Society and cat mom of more than 20 years, I'm uniquely qualified to share all the ins and outs (and icks and awws) of kitten care. As the mom to a 9-year-old, I know how to help kids help those fur babies thrive. I am an experienced high school English teacher and homeschooling mama with a passion for kitties, education, literature, critical thought, and intersectionality.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be discussing how to tell the sex of kittens, using proper names for body parts and visual aids to help in that. It should be noted that I am not a veterinarian, merely a volunteer foster mom of bottle baby kittens who has been specially trained in their care.
