Teacher expertise and credentials
2 Degrees
Master's Degree in Psychology from Western Kentucky University
Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from University of Evansville Indiana
My bachelor's degree is in science with majors in psychology, kinesiology and education. My Masters degree is in child psychology and education leadership. I have taught sensitive subjects to middle and high school students for over two decades while working closely with counselors of every sort to ensure their personal progress and success. I have also been trained and have worked with children with special needs including behavioral, physical and mental disorders. My experience, degrees and studies in child and adult psychology together have strengthened my understanding of the mind and hormonal connection to realize what the students truly go through on an everyday basis. Today's students deal with a life in the spotlight in general in this day of technology, let alone the struggles of the world they face every time they look into their phones. I am always mindful of the racing thoughts and hormonal shifts caused by this and their ages.
