In this one time class, we will explore how this amazing piece of technology helped shaped women's independence. We will start off with a brief look at the history of the bicycle, who was it primarily marketed to, to its increased popularity and how it replaced the horse. In this class, we will be discussing sexism and discrimination. All discussions will be at an age appropriate level. There may be some Youtube videos that are seen during this class. I will share my screen and learners will not need to access them on their own.
