In this class, you’ll learn about the first computers and who invented them. Then, you'll learn about what makes a computer work including: • Transistors • Binary • Electricity • Digital Circuits • Memory • Processors • Storage • Input/Output • Machine Code • Assembly Language • High Level Programming This class will be structured as a lecture with students interacting through chat and/or video. There may be time to go into more detail on topics that the students are interested in. This course is intended to be the first course in a multi-course series about how computers work. There is no experience or special knowledge required for this course.
