Students will learn about the fascinating ways China is using AI and facial recognition to fight crime. This is a great class for students who are interested in data science and specifically artificial intelligence and machine learning. Students will also get an introduction to technologies used in data science, AI, and machine learning in a way that they can understand. This will include real-life demonstrations of common data science tasks. Your learner will also be able to apply critical thinking skills by finding alternative uses for these technologies. In this class, your learner will learn: ◉ How facial recognition works. ◉ How AI and facial recognition is being used to fight crime. ◉ What crime they are trying to prevent. ◉ Definitions of common data science terms. ◉ How AI, machine learning, and artificial neural networks (ANNs) work. ◉ Real-life demonstrations of common data science tasks like data cleaning and visualization.
