In this one time course students will work side by side with the teacher via a live zoom class to make homemade horse rice krispie treats. We will start the class working together to make our treats. Once our treats are made and in the oven the students and I will share our horses with each other. Please check supply list below for any allergens for your student and/or horse. Students will be using the oven during this course, please assist them off camera as needed for their safety. As with any treats, these are to be fed in moderation. This treat is also taught in the flex class Yummy Horse Treats.

Supply List
rice krispies molasses oil 1 shredded apple, please have the apple shredded prior to joining class sugar (optional) whole wheat flour measuring cups/spoons mixing bowl mini muffin tin nonstick cooking spray if not using a nonstick tin.

Hello. I teach a lot of classes about animals and I also teach some reading classes. All of my animal classes are taught about animals that I own.
I love to educate people about animals, animal abuse and neglect. Almost all of my animals come to me as rescues. I like to teach others how to properly care for animals so that the animals can live a long and happy life. Research isn't always reliable as you get different answers in different books and it can be hard to figure out what's best. I am always open to questions. If you are interested in getting a certain pet, just want to learn about different pets or have a pet and want to verify the care is correct, I welcome everyone. I have also trained service dogs and I currently own a trained service dog.
I have taught local classes about the needs of turtles and tortoises, and also community education Sign language classes.
I am a homeschool parent. I have been homeschooling for over 15 years. In our homeschool adventure we use a lot of books and research for learning. We do not use textbooks.
I also have 3 years of college completed. I studied teaching with an emphasis on special education.
