Join me for an ongoing social group all about horses!  Each week we will explore various horse related topics including horse breeds, equine care and first aid, equine anatomy, styles of riding and equipment.  Each week I will present a different lesson, so learners are welcome to join this class at any time with no prior experience needed.  Learners will have the opportunity to practice social skills as they share their own horse experience or what they love about horses.  This is a great supplement to riding lessons, but no horse experience is required.  I plan lessons based on the interests of the students in the group, however, here is a general outline of our first few sessions: 

Week 1 Lesson- All about Thoroughbreds, Introduction to English riding and equipment

Week 2 Lesson- Styles of English riding- Hunter/Jumper and Dressage, All About the Arabian Horse

Week 3 Lesson- Western riding equipment, All About Drafts

Week 4 Lesson-All About the Canadian breed, Horse care- basic equine first aid
