The class is a meeting club for Homeschoolers. A place where they can share conversation with other learners who understand, firsthand, the Homeschool way of life. They can look forward to chatting with the same kids each week and getting to know each other at a distance like kids used to with their Pen Pals. Learners will have the opportunity to chat about their interests, share their favorite things, book series, toys, games, and shows. I will begin each class with a conversation starter, introductions, and let the kids take it from there, guiding as needed, to other topics. We will also play a game or two each week from logic, to word and picture puzzles, tongue twisters, to scavenger hunts. If the set time does not work for you but you are interested, please message me and ask if I'm able to add your preferred time. Also, please encourage your homeschooler to invite their friends near or far to meet them online each week in class!

My name is Ally and I have taught a variety of classes on Outschool such as Kindergarten Camp, 'All About Turtles, Scavenger Hunts, Animal Science, Graphic Design with Canva, All About Whales, Rainforests, and more! I'm often adding new classes so I hope you'll keep watch of my class listings and if you have one you'd like to see please let me know! I just might create one around that topic. I have a Master's in Elementary Education with a Minor in Child Psychology. I love teaching and have been in some capacity for most of my adult career whether as a Trainer in the Corporate world, a Teacher in brick and mortar classrooms, as a Professional Nanny, Homeschooling my own child or teaching ESL and Academic classes online across the globe.
In my classroom I like to maintain an environment where each child is encouraged participate at their comfort level. I love the quiet observers, the thinkers, and the ones who jump at the chance to answer questions. Learning should be fun and that is my goal in each class that I teach.
