This English Language Arts Mastery Institute and Test Prep Homeschool course was designed to meet the needs of students around the world. This course was derived using BA Standards, but also integrates CCSS as well as State Specific Standards and is therefore appropriate for students ages 7-10 in US grades 2nd, and 3rd, and students around the world. We focus specifically on writing and grammar, spelling, reading comprehension. We also focus on Test Prep Skills and Strategies in order to master those standardized testing such as CAASPP, IOWA, LEAP, TSA, SAT, NAPLAN, and more. This English Language Arts (ELA) course is designed to help elementary students build a strong foundation in English. Students will develop essential skills in: 🍏Grammar: Master sentence structure, punctuation, and parts of speech. 🍎Spelling: Learn strategies to improve accuracy and fluency. 🍏Vocabulary: Expand word knowledge through engaging lessons and practice. 🍎Reading Comprehension: Analyze texts, infer meaning, and identify main ideas. 🍏Test Prep Skills: Practice strategies to excel in school exams, IGCSE preparation, and 🍎🍎Beyond. Flip Books & Proper Point
Students will use flip books for grammar task throughout the course.
This class students will study Nouns: Proper vs. common nouns, singular vs. plural nouns. We will also focus on Author’s Purpose and Point of View. Flip book begins 40 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Creative Writing
In this lesson we will read a short story. Sharing the pen we will write a new ending for this story. We will use new vocabulary and sentence dress ups to extend on and dress up our writing. 40 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Grammar Mad Libs & Same and Different
Students will use flip books for grammar task throughout the course. Students will use mad lib type activity to review noun, verbs adjectives and adverbs. We will also use Comparing and Contrasting techniques against short stories. In this class we have Made libs minilesson and lesson. 40 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Creative Writing
In this course students will gain familiarity with a classic Fairytale. Individually students will write a new favorite using characters and setting but changing the plot. We will use new vocabulary and sentence dress ups to extend on and dress up our writing. 40 mins online live lesson

Parental Guidance
Students will use read works and will gain free access code upon enrollment. Students will also need a free Google account in order to recieve Google forms
Supply List
Handouts will be added to classroom. Students need a notebook with gluesticks and scissors.
