Opinion Writing in Kindergarten can be so much fun! In this unit of study students will learn the structure of persuasive text. We will begin our unit with sharing a mentor text that shows an example of having an opinion. The students will identify the authors opinion and they will analyze why the author feels this way. I have taught writers workshop for over fifteen years . I studied at the Colombia Teachers College in writers workshop. I have also taken additional classes in my district.
