Does your student love solving problems and thinking outside the box? Does your student love hands-on learning? Do they thrive learning in a non-traditional way? Then this is the perfect class for them! In this class, students will have the opportunity to solve holiday problems and tasks while being creative and using critical thinking skills. Each day students will be introduced to at least one problem or task to complete using a few basic household materials. Students will strategize and work alone for a set amount of time, then they will be given the opportunity to discuss, strategize, and problem-solve with their friends in the class. This will be a fantastic opportunity to keep students learning throughout the winter break without a textbook. Students will need to have all materials available for each class.

I have my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and my Master's degree in Library Media Science. I have 17 years of experience teaching in public, private school, and online setting. I have taught kindergarten, first, and third grades, as well as experience, teaching ESL and 4 years as a Library Media Specialist. I currently homeschool my 2 children and I love meeting and teaching new students with Outschool.
