In this 6-session class, students will work 1:1 with the teacher to prepare music the holidays.
Class experience
Feel free to message me with lesson time requests. In private lessons, students will have a chance to learn more in-depth and have the curriculum tailored to the student's interest. I strive to create lessons that are fun and engaging while also challenging the student to grow as a musician. I offer private lessons in piano, guitar, songwriting, voice and ukulele. I offer follow up notes for the student so they know what goals to work on each week and how to make the most of their practice...
I have been teaching piano for over 13 years. I have a Master's Degree in Music Education and a Bachelor's Degree of Art in Music. I am a touring musician and recording artist. I just released my second solo album.
Homework Offered
Please note: Students will need to practice a minimum of 2 hours every week to stay on top of class material. Weekly practice is essential to build upon previously learned material.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
I will offer feedback after students perform an exercise and, if needed, provide suggestions to help the student master the concept. Mistakes are a part of learning a musical instrument! So students should not worry if they play the exercise or a piece correct on the first try. Together we will learn how to progress through new music and learn new musical concepts.Grades Offered
I will assess which books will be best for each student based on a conversation with a guardian prior to the first meeting.
