In "Holiday Cheer & Christmas Art," young artists will dive into the magical world of Christmas art for kids as they paint delightful holiday scenes twice a week. From sparkling ornaments on a tree to a cozy snowman, playful penguins, an elf being sneaky, a reindeer ready for flight, and a jolly Santa preparing for his big day, every session is packed with festive fun. Along the way, the artists will use various art techniques like blending and shading to add depth and life to their masterpieces. They'll explore the elements of art and unleash their imaginations by adding unique, personal touches to their paintings. This class isn’t just about art—it’s also about connection! Between brushstrokes, students can chat and giggle over holiday-themed Would You Rather questions, building friendships while sharing their love of creativity. Whether you're looking for a fun homeschool activity or a way to keep the holiday spirit alive, this class is perfect for budding artists who love to paint and celebrate the season! Let's make art that jingles all the way! The artists will be taught how to use line and shape to create each painting. They will also learn about mixing paing and blending colors. This class will utilize the following structure: Greetings Demonstration Painting and Socialization Virtual Art Gallery My teaching style is relaxed and encouraging. The artists will get to interact with me as well as any other artists in the class throughout each meeting.

This class utilizes a step-by-step demonstration as well as use of positive reinforcement.
Parental Guidance
This class is Christmas-themed. The artists will decide on some of the elements of their paintings. They will also determine some of the topics of conversation. Acrylic paint does not come out of clothing and some other surfaces.
