This course will be held in a zoom video classroom. Students will need to have their cameras on but will not need to utilize the chat function. During this four week course, students will learn beginner Spanish words. I will incorporate toys and props in all of my lessons so children will remain engaged and have fun. No previous Spanish knowledge is required for this course. Topics that will be taught during this course are: Week 1- Days of the week in Spanish. Week 2- Counting to 15 in Spanish. Week 3- Mi familia- students will learn how to say their family members in Spanish, Mom, Dad, sister, brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins Week 4- La escuela- We will discuss things students usually see at school such as friends, teachers, pencil, crayons, books, bookbag, playground, blackboard, cafeteria, . . . and learn the names of these.
Learning Goals
My goal is for my students to have fun while learning Spanish. I will incorporate props, educational games and even music into my lessons to engage your child and to keep them interested. My ultimate goal is for your child to love learning with me and leave this class with a passion for learning more Spanish!
