In this 3-week online course, students will gain the confidence necessary to have a simple conversation with a native or fluent Spanish speaker by engaging with the teacher and other students through song and guided practice.

Beginner Level
Students will learn some simple songs and phrases in Spanish through video chat in a small group of students. Each class will begin with the teacher singing a song that teaches essential vocabulary (such as greetings, colors, numbers, family members, etc.). The teacher will then share some words and phrases that will help the students learn the song. The students will have the opportunity to practice the vocabulary and pronunciation in class. They will then be given the opportunity to sing the song together before the class ends. *This class is in both Spanish and English.
Learning Goals
In this 3-week course, students will learn songs, words, and phrases that will help them talk about everyday things, as well as to have a simple conversation with a native Spanish speaker. The vocabulary includes the following: greetings, introductions, colors, numbers, alphabet, manners, and other essential Spanish phrases for the beginning Spanish speaker.

over 3 WeeksLesson 1:
Greetings and Introductions
Students will learn how to introduce themselves and greet others in Spanish. Songs include "Buenos días" and "Hola, Yo Soy ____!" 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Family Members and More Introductions
Students will learn how to say the names of family members in Spanish through the popular children's song, "Familia Dedo." 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Colors and Numbers
We will learn numbers up to 10 with the numbers song and start learning colors in Spanish. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
The Alphabet and More Colors
We will finish learning the Colors Song and then learn the alphabet by singing an alphabet song in Spanish. 25 mins online live lesson

Supply List
I will supply the words to each song after each class to help the students remember the song/vocabulary and to practice at home, if desired.
