In this 5-week course, your student travels back in history by reading a book from Magic Tree House or Time Warp Trio series, builds creatively in Minecraft related to their read and plays some games.
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 5
Beginning each week, the student will read one book from Magic Tree House or Time Warp Trio series. During the week, the student will independently complete their own Minecraft build for class to reinforce their reading comprehension of that week's reading. The student will create a build that reflects on that week’s reading (example: a historical monument). Additionally, we will play a game or two to reinforce that week's read. The student will upload a project about the theme of the unit at the end of each unit. It will not be graded, but it would be beneficial for the learner to work on it throughout the class.Grades Offered

Parental guidance needed as screening of learner's Minecraft shares will be posted in class. Kahoots and/or Blooket games may be posted in classroom to reinforce learning.
