What are some of the most catastrophic weather events in American history? This course looks at some of the most devastating weather events since 1900 that have impacted the U.S. and contrasts these events with more modern weather events.

The learning goals for this course will be to review some of the more catastrophic weather events in American history. It will also compare and contrast older events with more modern events that have significantly impacted the U.S. Additionally, there will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information. The student will learn about hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods and will compare and contrast an older event to a more modern event.
I have over 20 years experience in the military working in the weather field or teaching weather to students.
1 file available upon enrollmentThere is a two-page note taker that the student may download and use to take notes during the course.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
