Let's Hip Hop till we drop in this high-energy dance class! We will learn hip hop dance moves and new choreography each class. Perfect for beginners or those who already know they love hip hop! Ms. Kara has a BA in Musical Theater, Dance and Perfromance and has studied at the NYC Dance Conservatory. Class will begin by warming up our muscles. After the warm-up we will begin learning dance moves and even incorporating props like a hat or jacket. Choreography will be fun and upbeat. You can expect your child to gain confidence and learn new routines to practice and perform at home! We will cool down at the end and stretch out our muscles. Our classes always have an intentional social aspect, and this will be no different. One of the best parts of dancing is doing it with friends! Ready Set Fitness Kids aims to provide enriching opportunities that support the physical, mental, and social-emotional health and well-being of each learner. Our goal is that every child leaves our classroom feeling confident and successful. We are honored to imagine, create, and get active with you! Due to the nature of fitness classes, we love to do energy check-ins with our kiddos at the beginning of class! We have 100s of songs across multiple class playlists so no two classes will ever be the same! Classes will be learner-directed as well as based on new/popular music of the time. From week to week, I'd love to bring songs that are requested by the kiddos themselves! Jump in and out as this class fits your schedule, I will always modify and scale the choreography so that each child feels successful yet challenged! Let's find joy in music and hip hop dance together! See you on the dance floor!
