Dance along with Miss Lauren in this Zombies 3 upbeat Jazz and Hip Hop Dance Class! In the first few minutes of class, learners will have the opportunity to connect with Miss Lauren. We will begin our dance class with an upbeat dance warm up and floor work stretch our bodies. We will learn basic Jazz and Hip Hop dance steps and then will continue to work on movement through basic motor skills. All while listening to the music from Disney's new Zombies 3 movie! Next, we will move right along into a special Jazz and Hip Hop dance to "Alien Invasion". We will end with a fun game of Freeze Dance. No dance experience necessary for this class.
Learning Goals
Your child will learn beginner Jazz and Hip Hop dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short dance which will teach them various patterns. Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!

Parental Guidance
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in these online dance classes, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself.

Hello! I’m Miss Lauren and am a performer, educator, choreographer and former dance studio owner in Milton, VT.
I am trained in various styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Acrobatics and hold a Bachelors Degree in Dance. I am also a professional for Dancing with the Stars Burlington and have graced the Flynn stage with my performance in 2019 and guest performance in 2022.
I provide wholesome dance classes where movement and music selection is always age appropriate. My main focus is to create a fun and energetic learning environment allowing kids to express themselves! I have been instructing children of all ages for 18 years and have loved every minute of it!
When not dancing, I can be found spending time with my husband and two boys. Dancing has always been my number one love and passion and is the fuel for my soul! I can’t wait to see you in my class! Now let’s get moving!
