Class Experience

In this Spanish language series, classes will focus on understanding and mastering key grammatical concepts of the Spanish language. The topics offered include the most commonly studied grammar in high school Spanish programs. These topics often cause anxiety and confusion for students who may struggle with foreign language acquisition. Whether your learner is looking to learn these topics for the first time or is in need of extra support and practice to supplement their Spanish studies, these classes will help learners improve their communication and comprehension skills in Spanish. Each class will incorporate listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. 

Topics studied in this course include: THE PRESENT TENSE AND THE PRESENT PROGRESSIVE IN SPANISH
-The Present Tense of Regular AR / ER / IR Verbs 
-Stem changing O>UE / E>IE / E>I Boot Verbs 
-Highly Irregular Present Tense Verbs 
-The Present Progressive

My lessons often include a combination of interactive activities for students to complete in the form of Nearpod and Pear Deck lessons. I utilize EdPuzzle. Kahoot and FlipGrid whenever possible to further students' comprehension and communication skills. To participate in these interactive activities, students click on session links I post in the Zoom chat during our live meetings. No personal information will ever be required of students in order to participate in these activities.
