This is an open class for any High School student who needs help in science! Anything in Biology, Chemistry, Geo-Science, Animal Biology, Ecology, Genetics - and many, many more! This course is a discussion section where students are encouraged to bring their homework, assessments, or any questions they have about the topics they're learning in class. Bring your friends! I have been teaching science for the past 10 years, from elementary school camps, to zoo education, to High School Biology (IB and otherwise) and Chemistry! I have experience teaching and engaging with all age groups a wide variety of natural sciences. I have a Biology credential and a M.A. in Education with an emphasis in Student Engagement and Classroom Culture, and I look forward to seeing your student in class!
