STUDENT LEVEL This is NOT a beginning French class. Its primary focus is to review and practice what was learned, so students MUST have taken 3-4 years of French and have intermediate conversational skills. This class is taught in English.
I have been learning French for 9 years now, from French 1 - French 5 as well as 4 years of immersion French classes. I am conversationally fluent and at a C1 level. I have tutored French immersion from May 2020 through August 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine, and I've been teaching French online for two years. I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working towards my Bachelors in French, which includes classes in advanced French immersion, French literature, and French education. I attended a 7-week summer French immersion camp through Middlebury College. I also have my certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), the principles from which I apply to my French classes.
Homework Offered
There will be a list of what we worked on sent out after each class, but there is no homework that must be turned in.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Students will be provided with conversation questions for breakout room discussions
This is NOT a beginning French class. Its primary focus is to review and practice what was learned, so students MUST have taken 3-4 years of French and have basic / developing conversational skills. Breakout rooms will be constantly monitored by me switching between rooms, and if needed after several warnings, I will end them early. I will always explain to students that they should be kind and respectful, stay on topic, and speak French unless absolutely necessary to speak English.
