Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in French.
I have been learning French for 6 years now, from French 1 - French 5. I am conversationally fluent and about a B2 level. I've been tutoring French since May 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine and I've been teaching French on Outschool for over a year.

I took the French CLEP test a few years ago and got maybe 5 points away from a perfect score while testing out of and getting credit for all the French classes at my local community college.

I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working on getting my Bachelors in French.
There will be a list of what we worked on sent out after each class, but there is no homework that must be turned in.
Students will be provided with conversation questions for breakout room discussions
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This is NOT a beginning French class. Its primary focus is to review and practice what was learned, so students MUST have taken 1-2 years of French and have basic / developing conversational skills.

Breakout rooms will be constantly monitored by me switching between rooms, and if needed after several warnings, I will end them early. I will always explain to students that they should be kind and respectful, stay on topic, and speak French unless absolutely necessary to speak English.
