Mr. Keith is a professional writer and theater director who has over two decades worth of professional writing and teaching experience. He has both taught and "done" these skills in the real world as a career classroom teacher and writer. 

Mr. Keith is also a licensed classroom teacher in the state of Georgia.

Details: Students will be provided with skill packet practice exercises at the end of each session. These activities are designed to be completed independently, and will include answer keys as appropriate. Students may always ask the instructor questions in the Classroom or via message to receive support with these activities.
Assessment
Frequency: Available upon request
Details: Students may write a sample five paragraph essay which the instructor will review and provide some feedback on for improvement. Review turn around time 3-5 days.
In writing persuasive essays, topics will involve perspectives and opinions. Topics will be related to student interests and activities. In the event that current events becomes the topic of discussion (which can involve political perspectives), the instructors goal is to support argumentation and writing technique to help that student (and others) refine their skills.
