In this class, your learner will be introduced to new ways of finding their voices. We will use open ended statements, games, role play and strategies to use so they lose the fear of putting our thoughts onto paper. By first breaking down "why" the words are hard to find, is it perfectionism, language rules, unwilling to share your ideas or lack of ideas that are stopping you? There are many reasons why we cannot find our voice, let's find many solutions together and go from stuck to story building! Hello, my name is Angela. I teach classes to all ages and abilities.
I love teaching in a low pressure, fun atmosphere. I believe the most rewarding aspect of learning is the gained ability to connect with others.
I have a BA in Child and Family Service, I am a certified librarian, with TESOL and TEFOL certifications, 25 years of teaching experience with varied ages and abilities. My specialty is helping children with anger/anxiety issues, along with neurodivergent students who may need a little extra support.
My passion is helping others fulfill their learning goals. I am a lifelong learner and love to pass that passion along to my students. My days begin with teaching children of all abilities. When I am not working, I am usually on my farm playing with my pigs, ducks and chickens. I can't forget my two dogs too!
As a mom of two, I know the importance of individualized lessons. Every child is different and it is my goal to teach how they learn.
