In this one on one math class, your student will get the individualized assistance via a small group setting styled class that they may need to help them practice and memorize the addition math facts 0 to 12.

This multi-day -meeting course is designed to help students increase fluency with addition math facts with 0's through 12's. This is geared toward students who have learned the process of addition but are still struggling to learn these necessary facts. The student will be given flashcard recall strategies to help them to learn these missing facts that they are still struggling to learn. The student will be given a quick verbal quiz at the beginning of the session to assess where they are with their understanding of the additional facts. The rest of class time will be spent solving addition problems. I really enjoy small group lessons because I can give your child the individual, undivided attention that learning the basic addition facts may require for your student to be successful. I am happy to have the opportunity to help your child with their specific needs because we all know how critical learning the basic math facts are to their ongoing success in school. Learning Goals
This course will help the student to memorize and practice the addition math facts 0 through 12 to gain fluency and be able to have a sense of accomplishing this very important math goal- knowing their addition math facts much more fluently as time progresses.

Supply List
The student should bring a piece of paper and a pencil to class so that they are able to write down the math problems that they are struggling to learn.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Addition worksheets can be utilized for homework as this will help to reinforce the concepts being learned during the one on one tutoring session.
