Hello Spanish: Let's Have Fun Learning Pet Vocabulary en ESPAÑOL for Beginners!
A small group, one-time class designed for beginner Spanish learners. We will focus on learning vocabulary about pets and simple sentences while having fun, lots of speaking and conversational opportunities, and interactive activities.

Informal oral assessment. Teacher will assess pronunciation and mastery of skill being learned.Class Experience
Learners will be introduced to themed vocabulary. Learners will practice pronunciation and will be able to identify the word, its meaning, and use it in context. While learning vocabulary, students will also be practicing their listening and comprehension skills. The small group setting allows for plenty of opportunities for learners to practice what they are learning. Some of the lessons will include interactive activities. The theme for the class is: My Pets/Mi mascota - Learners will learn words for pets in Spanish. Students can bring a picture of their pet if they have one. Learners will apply the words learned for pets in simple sentences. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Flashcards and/or worksheets will be sent to learners to support the learning but are not mandatory.
Learning Goals
Learners will learn Spanish vocabulary, practice proper pronunciation of the words in different word activities and use words in context while learning the meaning of the words.
