Hello families! In this class, your student will embark on a creative journey, learning how to prep and paint their very own pair of shoes. I believe that any material or surface—even a simple pair of shoes—can be transformed into a beautiful work of art. 

We’ll dive into the essentials, starting with the prep work, sketching designs, and deciding on the perfect placement of the artwork. Then, we’ll move on to picking colors and painting the shoes, turning them into unique masterpieces. My goal is to help each student feel confident in what they’re learning so they can apply these skills to their own artistic journey. 

Every student is unique and wonderful in their own way, and I’m here to help them discover the joy of art and the power of self-expression.

**Materials Needed for This Lesson:**
- A pair of shoes (that you don’t mind painting—I’ll be using a pair from Walmart)
- Painter’s tape
- Acrylic paint (colors of your choice)
- Paintbrushes (be sure to have a fine-tipped brush for details)
- A cup of water (for cleaning brushes)
- Napkins
