In this five day class students will learn how to draw a total of 15 different food and drink items. Students will begin class with a brief discussion about their favorites as related to the food or drink drawing category of the day. Each day, the teacher will give step by step instructions on how to draw 3 different items. The students are encouraged to ask questions along the way should they need more assistance. This class is suitable for beginner artists. The level of difficulty will grow with each new drawing. The purpose of this class is to inspire young learners to be creative and draw with confidence. Using listening skills, and being open to participating in the discussion, is very important for this class. Daily Drawings Are To Include: Day 1: How To Draw Fruit Day 2: How To Draw Sweet Treats Day 3: How To Draw Food Day 4: How To Draw Drinks Day 5: How To Draw Candy

Students will learn how to draw 15 different food and drink items as they develop creative confidence while using beginner drawing skills.

Supply List
Students will need these materials daily: 3 or more sheets of white paper (8.5"-11") Sharpened Pencils (more than 1 is recommended should the pencil point break) Colored Pencils, Crayons and/or Markers Eraser Students can use an optional small bowl for drawing the gumball machine on Day 5.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
As an elementary teacher, and the mother of a gifted Arts student, drawing and the Arts has become a part of my classroom career and my home school instruction. Numerous times out of the week I am either involved in drawing and crafts with my PreK to Kindergarten learners or involved with teaching and practicing drawing with my daughter as she develops her craft.
