There is one week during this summer camp (see schedule for specific dates in class description) that students will be learning about exercise and the importance of physical fitness. As a part of this week's topic, we will engage in a short exercise routine together. Whenever students are involved in a physical fitness routine, please be advised that in order to avoid any potential hazards or injuries, the following details need to be considered and made a priority to ensure safe participation: having an open workout space, wearing proper exercise footwear, having a water bottle ready, and taking part in adequate stretching beforehand. Injuries from tripping over or bumping into objects, injuries to feet/ankles/other areas from not wearing exercise footwear, dehydration from lack of water intake, and muscle strains without proper stretching can occur if the child is not properly supervised. Please take special care to oversee and prepare all of these areas. Thank you!
