Learners are progressed through honest self-reflection, verbal and written analysis of food labels and a conclusive one day meal plan.Class Experience
Students will embark on a journey that will begin with a period of self-reflection of what foods they love and hate. We will then break these foods down by their macronutrients (carbohydrates, fats, proteins), vitamins, minerals and ingredient lists. After completing this breakdown in week 1, we will start to make choices and find healthy, tasty alternatives. Students will develop a unique skillset that prepares them to battle a world in which food culture is dominated by unnatural colors, cheap products and artificial ingredients. The knowledge of healthy nutrition is a life skill that will forever benefit your student both under your roof and on their own. This is a class built to provide practical, applicable knowledge immediately!
