Class Experience

US Grade 9
In this course students will learn the concepts of Health and how to be healthy individuals. This course is focuses on lifetime health and fitness and learning how to be preventive rather than reactive. When planning my lessons I use the National Standards for Health & P.E. This course covers all the material that is taught in the 9th grade Health and is what I use in my in personal classes I teach.

This class is great for those who homeschool but you don't have to be homeschooled to take the class.

Class Structure:
Each unit will contain a few topics. Your child will work through the unit available at their own pace. All new content will be uploaded on Mondays Eastern Daylight Time. A report card will be provided at the end of the class. In each module there will be information for each chapter in that unit. The information will be in the form of teaching videos and PowerPoints. Students will be expected to complete the classwork within each unit.

Students can request a meeting with me at any time during the semester. In order to do this the student will need to email me requesting a meeting. Student can also look for an optional zoom meeting where students will be able to ask me questions, get help, or help each other.

At the end of the course students will receive a report card with all assignments, grades, and a final grade.
