Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Dani!
A little about my background in teaching:
I attended the University of Hawaii where I studied Education and earned a Bachelors in Art. I earned my Montessori certificate from North American Montessori and taught Pre-school for two years. I furthered my Montessori training and taught the Elementary class (1-3rd grade). Two years ago I began teaching English online. I am truly amazed at the connections and learning that can happen through the computer screen! I was an interventionist at my local K-2 school working with students who need support in reading and math.
I live in Louisiana with my husband and two children. I love animals, I love to grow fruits and vegetables in my garden. I think creating a love of learning begins with a human connection. I like to have fun and be happy in classes.
You may notice all of my classes (except P.E.) are for a maximum of 6 students. I like to keep my class size smaller to encourage student output and participation.
I will see you in class thank you!
