In this 8 week course learners will test their knowledge of the "Harry Potter" films by playing Blooket trivia games.

Each week learners will watch a different Harry Potter movie then come to class prepared to answer trivia questions about the movie. We will start off class by talking about the week's movie for 10 minutes, then play 30 minutes of Blooket "Harry Potter" trivia questions and spend the last 5 minutes to go over the trivia questions and wrap up. Blooket is a free platform that lets learners answer fun trivia questions to win a game and earn coins. The learners are free to continue talking while playing the game or concentrate on winning. The game is live and only my learners will access to the game. At the start of each class, learners will get the code for that day's game. There are about 50 multiple choice questions each week. All questions come from the movies. Weekly Breakdown Week 1 - Movie 1 "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" Week 2 - Movie 2 "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" Week 3- Movie 3 "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" Week 4 - Movie 4 "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" Week 5 - Movie 5 "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" Week 6 - Movie 6 "Harry Potter and the Half-Blooded Prince" Week 7 - Movie 7 "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 " Week 8 - Movie 8 "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 " If you have any questions about setting up a Blooket account please message me, I can try to walk you through the set up. The set up takes only a few minutes but takes away from game time if we have to set it up for each student during class. If your learner wants to participate in the Blooket game but doesn't know how to read, the parent can sit off camera and read the questions to the learner. Only the learner that is enrolled in the class can be on camera. The learners will be answering different questions so I am unable to read the questions out loud.

During the class we will be using the platform Blooket. Blooket is a fun game that ask learners trivia questions and the learners earn coins to spend on upgrading their character.
